10 Types Of People You Knew In Secondary School

Who remembers the classmates they had in secondary school? Some of them annoying, others lovable, some kissed up to the teacher and there are certain ones you still have a grudge against.
To make you feel a bit nostalgic,  we have compiled a list of 10 people you knew in secondary school.
You might even be one of them.
Ready?
Teacher's Pet
Annoying little things that stuck to the teacher and used their closeness to the teacher to torment your life.
They were always killing themselves to run errands like cleaning the board or writing names of noisemakers.
They struggled to become the class monitor and would not hesitate to report you to your form mistress/master.
The teacher was always praising them in the class.
The Smart One
This one was the star boy or girl in the school. They were picked first for everything, came first in class and always went for quiz competitions.
Every teacher, including the Principal, liked them. But the students and maybe even you envied them.
Dumb One
Took the last position every term. And never seemed to understand what was going on in the class.
It is them that they will ask to solve something on the board and they will start behaving as if they are sick.
You can't even help them in the exam hall because they can put you into trouble with their stupidity.
The Hot One
This one was your crush. You used to pray that two of you can act drama together or the teacher will tease you both for being a couple.
And your heart broke every time they said "God forbid" or "not me and him oh".
They dated only the big boys/girls or weren't interested in dating.
The Economist
This one is the stingy goat that will never give you anything. They will use the cover of their water bottle to measure water for you and refuse to tear a sheet of paper for you.
They said things like; "my mother said I should not..." Is a big lie!
Where God punished these ones is that they are also beggars and you always got your revenge on them.
Truant
Their name is on the attendance sheet but you have never seen them before. They never or rarely come to class, but you will see them on the exam day.
Sometimes they will come but they will find somewhere to hang around till after school.
Late Comer
They always have a flimsy excuse for coming late. They have a particular time which you expect them to come to class and that is when they will come.
The Lover Boy
This one came to school just to chase girls. They wanted to date every girl in school and usually went after the new girls.
They will pose as tour guides to new students and would compliment all the girls in your class.
Gossips
Every secondary school has one. The rumor mongers that always have the latest gossips and can even formulate their own.
They know who is dating who and which teacher is wooing which student.
Their job is to keep people informed and they seldom pay attention to their school work.
The Over Sabi
These ones carried the school on their heads. First to submit assignments, go for assembly, follow any rule and can correct the teacher.
They act like they know everything even though they usually get their facts wrong.
This kind of student can never corporate in class and is sure to expose your plans to the teacher.
Keep the fun going, tell us the other types of student you met in school. And which one you were.

The power of God's Word - W.F Kumuyi

The Apostles of Jesus Christ were eyewitnesses of His teachings and miracles He performed. They thus became uncompromising “ministers of the word.” They were tried, tempted, persecuted, imprisoned, severely tortured, denied their rights, abused and afflicted, subjected to hunger, thirst, shame and disgrace. Yet, they stood firmly and remained uncompromising till death. We must also resolve not to deviate from the command to preach “the word of God with boldness.”  The Apostles were not deterred by threats from enemies of the gospel. Instead, they resolved: “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Paul the apostle doggedly proclaimed “all the counsel of God” everywhere, despite his predicaments. He said, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:17). Preachers of the word of God should not circumvent the truth to please any individual, authority or congregation.  To preach ...

No matter what people say, you cannot emphasise enough on how important first impressions are. First impressions will determine whether the person you are meeting will like you or not. Men tend to admire while women will inspect. That is to say, women will scrutinize every single thing in men when it comes to the first impression. Just good looks and a shaped body won’t make a good impression. Here are 10 other things that are also needed. 10. Posture Most people don’t know this, but posture is a very important part of yourself. Having a strong posture exudes confidence. And we all know, that ladies love confidence. Posture defines how you carry yourself and be around others. It should be confident but not arrogant. It should showcase that you are strong yet gentle. Meet a lady with slouched back, and they won’t give you a second glance. 9. Looks Well, this may seem a bit shallow but looks matter just as much as anything else. Now the thing about looks is that it can vary fr...
