5 Food Every Bachelor Should Know How To Cook

We live in a society where cooking is thought to be gender specific. They say, cooking is a woman’s job.
That’s as unsound a logic as they come. Food is essential to survival and it’s a skill, yes skill everyone need to have.
Knowing this, the idea is still rejected and it’s all fun and games till you’re a bachelor living on your own and spending a substantial amount of your income on Food.
But for those of you who are ready to learn how to cook certain dishes but don’t know where to start, this article is for you.
Here a 5 food every bachelor should know how to cook.
Rice & Stew
Let’s start with the basics, rice and stew belong on the Nigerian flag.
It’s the most common meal amongst Nigerians and it’s very easy to make.
Every Nigerian eats rice at least 3 times a week.
Pasta
You can never go wrong with pasta, it’s easy to cook, filling, quick.
Beans
Beans was used by my parents to teach me hard work, patience and delayed gratification.
Picking beans can be a bit hectic and it’s a known time consumer but the finished product when done right is superb.
Yam & Egg
This is another quick and easy meal to make.
Yam is the main thing to learn and if you don’t know how to fry an egg, abeg don’t continue cos you might burn down your house if you attempt to cook the next meal.
Egusi
Now to the more complicated stuff.
There are some days when you just want to give yourself a good treat, Instead of the basic rice and yam.
Egusi is one of such meals, it was invented for Kings with knowledge straight from the gods and it was used to bless their most loyal servants.
If anyone tells you any soup trumps this, they lied.
What meal are you great at cooking or what dish would you like to learn? use the comment section.

The power of God's Word - W.F Kumuyi

The Apostles of Jesus Christ were eyewitnesses of His teachings and miracles He performed. They thus became uncompromising “ministers of the word.” They were tried, tempted, persecuted, imprisoned, severely tortured, denied their rights, abused and afflicted, subjected to hunger, thirst, shame and disgrace. Yet, they stood firmly and remained uncompromising till death. We must also resolve not to deviate from the command to preach “the word of God with boldness.”  The Apostles were not deterred by threats from enemies of the gospel. Instead, they resolved: “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Paul the apostle doggedly proclaimed “all the counsel of God” everywhere, despite his predicaments. He said, “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:17). Preachers of the word of God should not circumvent the truth to please any individual, authority or congregation.  To preach ...

10 First Impressions That Women Look For In Men

No matter what people say, you cannot emphasise enough on how important first impressions are. First impressions will determine whether the person you are meeting will like you or not. Men tend to admire while women will inspect. That is to say, women will scrutinize every single thing in men when it comes to the first impression. Just good looks and a shaped body won’t make a good impression. Here are 10 other things that are also needed. 10. Posture Most people don’t know this, but posture is a very important part of yourself. Having a strong posture exudes confidence. And we all know, that ladies love confidence. Posture defines how you carry yourself and be around others. It should be confident but not arrogant. It should showcase that you are strong yet gentle. Meet a lady with slouched back, and they won’t give you a second glance. 9. Looks Well, this may seem a bit shallow but looks matter just as much as anything else. Now the thing about looks is that it can vary fr...
